About Sea Spec International

Sea Spec International provides independent inspection/survey services throughout the UK/Ireland, and International country regions such as Western Europe, Baltic Region, Russia & Ukraine.

Sea Spec International was formed in 2006, to provide independent inspection/survey services to International trade. Service scope concentrates on detailed, experienced knowledge of commodity
trade sectors, with emphasis on independent representation, impartial coverage and precise, factual reporting.

Commodity trade knowledge has been gained over the last 30 years within the marine supervision/survey industry, commodity trading and shipping sector. Trade clients include international mineral/fertilizer traders, agricultural bulk commodity shippers, coal importers and general cargo importers and exporters. The company works with a core of experienced, field based
inspectors/surveyors, strategically located throughout the represented trade locations, who have in depth experience & knowledge of regional ports and locations.

All operations are coordinated from a central reporting office, where nominations, daily reporting updates, reports, invoicing and credit control administration is managed.

Sea Spec International is a Superintendent & Survey Member of the Grain & Feed Trade Association and an Approved Superintendent Member of the GTAS – GAFTA Trade Assurance Scheme.
