Whether the client is the supplier, shipper, trader or buyer, as appointed agent, allows the interested party, without physically attending, to have reliable, accurate and impartial information in respect to the quality, condition, packing and markings of a designated commodity, clarifying conformity to contract specification.
The Marine Cargo Inspector / Surveyor’s role in the field is to ensure that the client’s cargo interests are protected at any stage of the port handling process.
